What We Are Looking For:

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the successful applicant should be able and willing to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.

With a minimum of 3 years experience in the wholesale, women’s apparel, contemporary market, this client-facing role will cover the below core responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for a newly launched lifestyle division

  • Grow the business through client development across the full gamut of distribution channels

  • Monitor and track profitability goals

  • Build merchandising and assortment plans on a monthly basis with team

  • Participate in preparation and attendance of all Markets/Trade Shows as necessary

  • Work with SVP to plan out seasonal markets and entertain new Trade Show venues and market

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fashion apparel industry
  • Must have a proven track record of successfully managing and growing wholesale accounts
  • Experience in developing a territory or launching a new collection
  • Strong relationships with speciality stores or experience working with online stores

Dress Designer- Women's

Nicole Miller is currently looking for a Dress Designer for their women’s dress division in both evening and daytime.


  • Monthly design development with strong integration of seasonal concepts, merchandizing line plans, and current business needs

  • Oversee all sampling for dress divisions, including in-house patterns and technical development packages and ensuring that it is in line with brand and aesthetic requirements

  • Work with Design team to create a dress line that is consistent with sportswear development 

  • Adhering to target cost and customer guidelines 

  • Extensive sketching required including silhouettes along with print and embellishments 

  • Conduct design and trend research

  • Tech-packing and working daily with overseas vendors 

  • Creating embellishment layouts on patterns to send to overseas factories

  • Report status of all projects and issues to Director of Production on a daily basis to ensure all product deadlines are met  

  • Meet with fabric vendors weekly to shop for fabrics for evening and day dress division 

  • Adhere to design calendar and attend all relevant design meetings as required

  • Assist with other responsibilities and projects as needed  

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ Years Women’s Design experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design 

  • Strong understanding of the Nicole Miller aesthetic

  • Highly creative self-starter with an excellent understanding of garment construction, fit, and finishes

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong hand illustration and technical flat sketching skills 

  • Ability to source and develop embellishments 

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Outlook, knowledge of PLM/PDM a plus

  • Team focused
