Her work is often shown on the covers and in the pages of leading fashion and lifestyle magazines world wide. During the sales and marketing internship, you will support the Sales & Marketing staff on a daily basis while interacting with the production, public relations, and design departments.  During the Fall and Spring, you will be able to experience our runway show at the Lincoln Center, and our biggest trade show of the year - Coterie. 

Flexible time frame and scheduling:

MID JAN – MID APRIL – spring, coterie

MID APRIL – MID MAY – presummer, intermezzo


Your responsibilities will include:

-     Assist sales account executives in market meetings and sales presentations to entire company, sales reps, and wholesale accounts

-     Weekly visits to Bloomingdales to check stock levels and help merchandise the floor

-     Sit in on buying sessions with major department stores buyers

-     Maintain product and showroom daily organization by updating line sheets, tagging new products, and merchandising samples

-     Manage all sample pulls and trafficking for corporate sales, retail events, including trunk shows, and photo shoots

-     Assist with photo shoots, including sitting in on model castings and helping style models

-     Assist sales department in preparation and execution of regional markets and trade shows (including Coterie and Intermezzo)

-     Assist with branding current ad campaigns in shop-in-shops, booths, and showroom



-     Preferred 1-2 years of fashion industry experience

-     Enrolled in college or postgraduate

-     college credit offered

-     Available to intern a minimum of 3 days a week

-     Strong and outgoing interpersonal skills

-     Computer proficiency skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, Photoshop)

-     Good organization skills and able to prioritize tasks

-     Ability to meet deadlines while multi tasking

-     Energetic and organized individual with a positive “go-getter” attitude

-     Must be fashionable

NYC-based fashion brand Nicole Miller seeks an intern to help our growing e-commerce team. The intern will work with our team to help maintain pieces of the e-commerce back-end, merchandise product on the web site, and help organize and conduct product photo shoots. Additional responsibilities will include editing photos in Photoshop, brainstorming email marketing campaign ideas, and helping our Retail and Digital Marketing Coordinators. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated college student or recent college graduate to gain an understanding of the workings of a growing e-commerce business within a well-established fashion brand.

The Nicole Miller public relations department is seeking responsible, self-motivated interns with a strong interest in the fashion industry and public relations. Ideal candidates are proactive and self-starters, with a positive attitude and infallible work ethic. Interns will learn the basics of Fashion PR, including sample trafficking, relationship building, event production, press outreach, and more. Interns must be able to work at least 2 days a week with the hours of 9AM-6PM.

  • Pursuing or already have a college degree
  • Previous internship experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and prioritize tasks

  • Maintaining organization of all sample closets
  • Assisting with sample pulls for various editorial requests
  • Tracking and cataloging Nicole Miller press in relevant media outlets (print, digital, and broadcast)
  • Provide assistance to PR team on photo shoots, events, and market appointments
  • Administration support including running occasional miscellaneous errands
