Designer to Donate $25,000 to Bobby Kennedy Jr.’s River Keeper

(New York) Nicole Miller has included a philanthropic clause in celebrating her big 2-5 later this month. For her silver anniversary dinner at Aby Rosens’ Chinatown Brasserie, Miller will make a $25,000 donation to Bobby Kennedy Jr. in support of River Keepers, an organization that promotes environmental integrity and with which the designer has been involved with for more than a decade. Among the socially conscious crowd expected at the sit-down affair are Anne Hearst, Gina Gershon, Andre Balazs, Martha Stewart, Jay Mclnerney, Mary Boone, Michelle Hicks, Lancome spokeswoman Shalom Harlow, and Zac Posen, who interned with Miller early on in his career. According to company CEO Bud Konheim, Miller will partner with river Keeper in ongoing fundraising efforts to eventually raise $100,000.
